Trust & Safety
Last updated: July 5, 2026
Medex is built for private health tracking, personal context, and follow-up support. It is not a medical service, and it does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace a qualified clinician.
Health data Medex handles
Medex may store the profile details, symptoms, medications, notes, photos, videos, voice recordings, transcripts, messages, check-ins, and timeline entries you choose to add. This information is used to run the app features you request.
AI processing
When you use chat, intake, media review, transcription, summaries, or follow-ups, relevant health context may be sent to trusted infrastructure, AI, transcription, storage, authentication, notification, and subscription providers so Medex can respond and keep your record updated.
What Medex does not do
- Medex does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or emergency care.
- Medex does not sell personal data.
- Medex does not use personal health data for third-party advertising.
- Medex does not replace your doctor, urgent care, or emergency services.
Deletion and control
You can delete your account from the Medex app. You can also contact support@medex.my for privacy, access, deletion, or support requests.
Security practices
Medex uses authenticated access, private storage, server-side AI keys, and user-level data separation. We limit access to information needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
If something goes wrong
If Medex identifies a reportable security incident involving personal health information, we will evaluate our legal obligations and notify affected users, regulators, and service providers when required.
Safety boundary
If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. Do not wait for a response from Medex.
